VOLUNTEER Service Agreement

Before You Complete Your Agreement

As we reach this step together, we want to share a bit of information about the agreement you’re about to review and sign electronically.

For some applicants, this agreement may feel more formal or detailed than expected. That’s intentional. These safeguards protect the PII of the missing persons and families we serve, the integrity of our investigations, and you as a volunteer. They ensure everyone operates with clarity, accountability, and shared expectations.

After You Complete Your Agreement

While we’re working to create all of our new onboarding tools to reflect our new brand and organizational structure, we encourage you to do the following:

  • Monitor missing persons cases in your area. If you feel we can be of benefit, reach out to the family and refer them to our website to complete the Intake Form. We encourage our members to assist in the completion of this form so we can get as much information as possible.
  • Create a free account at the NamUs website. This is the official Department of Justice clearinghouse for missing persons.
  • Pay attention to your email for correspondence from us. A list of our Board of Directors is below, and we may reach out to you based on your skills and profession to fulfill certain roles.
          • Marilyn Stevenson, CEO
          • Heather DeCecco, COO
          • Jacob Koppenhaver, CTO/Investigator
          • Jason Jenson, PIO/Investigator
          • Sarah Mack, Director of Family Outreach
          • Julia Marie Adams, Director of Marketing and Socials
          • Misty Matturro, Director of Finance

We’re happy to have you on board and look forward to working with you!
